On 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 that were adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit, officially came into force.
The SDGs form the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
The 17 goals are:
Since then many organisations both public and private have taken actions to ensure that we achieve the goals. Eluceo is doing our part and is committed to supporting the SDGs, particularly Goal 4 – ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all and Goal 5 – achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
