Eluceo’s inspiring and innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) programmes offer students aged 11-21 the opportunity to learn about different industries available to them, future careers, the lifecycle of products, services development and how people in different roles work together within a company.  Eluceo has partnered with the Industrial Cadets, an initiative inspired by Prince Charles, which leads to a workplace experience-based, industry-led accreditation, at the Silver level for Eluceo programmes.

Recognising that many companies have limited resources and experience in developing their own World of Work programmes, our scheme offers companies the opportunity to gain those useful future contacts by sponsoring an Eluceo World of Work programme at their local school(s).

By formal accreditation through Industrial Cadets, students gain recognition for the soft skills they’ve developed such as:

  • Problem Solving
  • Teamwork
  • Team Building and Leadership
  • Research
  • Communication
  • Presentation

Throughout the programme, we invite representatives from companies to give students an insight into their industry and their company specifically, through a site visit and mentoring scheme. This gives students - your prospective employees - an understanding of the roles within your company and the skills they’ll need to gain a position.

At the end of the programme, students present their work to invited guests at their Industrial Cadets graduation ceremony. Here they'll gain their Industrial Cadets award, becoming part of a national accreditation network.

By sponsoring a school or schools, our programmes will benefit you in the following ways:

  • Offer an experience-based, industry-led accreditation
  • Reach out to local students
  • Use programmes that can be tailored to meet the needs of your company
  • Create work-ready employees
  • Provide a cost-effective way to meet your recruitment needs (and remove all the administration and hassle in the process!)
  • Spark interest in the next generation
