Choosing a University
There are so many different things to consider when choosing which university you want to go to. You are signing up to spend at least three years of your life living and working your new home so you have to be sure that it is right for you. To simplify things a bit, we have gone through the five most important things to consider. Some may be more important to you than others but they are all things to bear in mind when reading through a university’s prospectus or attending a visit day or open day.
Choosing a Course
The other most important thing to think about when deciding on your degree, is which course you want to do. You may think that once you know what subject you would like to do, that choosing a course is straightforward but there are a lot of different things to consider.
This is because courses vary from university to university. Some universities are more respected than others, of course, but also some offer opportunities for work experience; they may have different types of modules, or more or less choice; and they may be assessed in different ways. These are all things to consider when making your final choice of degree because you want to make sure that you do as well as you possibly can, and come out with a degree that is valued and respected by employers.
